Day 1: Transfer to Akagera national park

Early morning at 8:00 Am drive to Akagera national park. Arrive, have Lunch. In the afternoon enjoy a boat ride on Lake Ihema to see crocodiles and hippos. Dinner and overnight at Deriva Hotel. (B.L.D)

Day 2: Game drive – transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast take a game drive to spot giraffes, elephants, buffaloes and a variety of bird species. Return for lunch and later drive to Volcanoes National Park. Check in your lodge for dinner and overnight at Virunga Hotel (B.L.D)

Day 3: Hiking Mt.Bisoke 3711 Meters

Early breakfast at your lodge and head to Kinigi headquarters for briefing. Hiking mount Bisoke takes one day, and is a tough hike requiring good fitness. By 7:30 Am you set off in your cars and transfer to the head trail starting point of the hike. From here you get hiking sticks and it’s necessary to hire a porter to carry your backpack. you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the crater lake at the top of the volcano. If time allows you will visit Diane Fossey’s place. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Virunga Hotel (B.L.D)

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Kivu

After breakfast drive to Lake Kivu. Have lunch and then enjoy a relaxing boat ride or swim in this Bilharzia free lake and visit the fishing villages. Dinner and overnight stay at

Day 5: Transfer back to Kigali

In the morning after breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Kigali to catch your flight back home
