This is a 7 day tour of Rwanda, a country of many hills found in Central Africa with fascinating scenic beauty. You can track the Gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, this provides miraculous experience by having ample time with the gorillas. You will also visit the scenic twin lakes of Burera & Ruhondo
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Our guests arrive at Kigali International Airport are met and greeted by theFrena Adventures Safaris representative. You will have a tour of the city of Kigali with lunch at a chosen city restaurant. Later you will be transferred to Ruhengeri. Overnight: Virunga Hotel on full board.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Volcanos National Park
Track the Gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, this provides miraculous experience by having ample time with the gorillas. Lunch is at Gorillas nest, after lunch visit the scenic twin lakes of Burera & Ruhondo. Dinner and overnight at Virunga Hotel(FB).
Day 3: A Visit to the Orphaned Children
After having your breakfast, we transfer our guests to Gisenyi with a visit to the Rosamond Carr’s Orphanage Center for the children who lost their loved ones during the 1994 genocide. You will have a picnic lunch, with dinner and overnight at Muhabura Hotel just a few metres from the orphanage on full board.
Day 4: Boat Ride at Cyangugu
After breakfast, go for a boat ride in a Marine Speed Boat to Cyangugu, a place famous for river and lakes. Participate in farm tourism and great village tours that expose the real African man at work to the world. Lunch at Kibuye, dinner and overnight Nyungwe Top view Hotel full board.
Day 5: Nyungwe Forest
Early morning leave for Nyungwe forest for the first Chimpanzee trekking in the blessed great African chimp home, lunch at Nyungwe Lodge. After lunch go for a primate viewing at the monkey base in the forest. Dinner and overnight Nyungwe Top view (FB).
Day 6: Genocide popular sites
Drive back to Kigali and on the way visit Murambi Genocide Memorial Site famous for having dead remains of the massacred people like torn old clothes, skeletons of twisted group of people who were killed in groups both young and elderly. You also might visit Butare National Museum, a theatre of traditional artifacts and many more an mentioned, plus the former Royal Palace in Nyanza town. You will have a picnic lunch, with dinner and overnight at Muhabura Hotel. (FB).
Day 7: A brief city tour- departure
After breakfast, you will have a city tour to Kigali for some shopping of memorable African products that will keep you close to Africa for the rest of your life. Lunch is at a chosen restaurant, then we transfer you to the airport for your departure flight back home.
