  • Day 1: Transfer from Kampala / Entebbe to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

You will start your tour early in the morning by departing to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which is around 4 hours of drive from Entebbe / Kampala. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is the only location in Uganda, where rhinos can be observed in their natural habitat. This Rhino safari will take around 2-4 hours of game drive and you will check into your lodge.   • Day 2: Transfer from Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to Queen Elizabeth NP

After an early morning breakfast, you will depart to Queen Elizabeth NP which is around 8-9 hours of drive. Lunch will be provided en-route.

  • Day 3: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

You’ll be taken for an early game drive in the park at about 6:30 am which is considered the best time to spot the animals in their natural habitat. You can expect to see most of the members of the Big Five: elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard along with kobs, giant forest hog, hyenas, antelopes, and waterbucks and numerous bird species. You’ll return to the lodge and have your breakfast and relax till lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll be taken for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel to have a close encounter with animals like hippos, crocodiles, and grazing animals like buffalos, and elephants on the banks of the channel. A variety of bird species like the shoebill, pelican, and jacana can be spotted as well.

  • Day 4: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, you will set off to the Ishasha Sector, which is famous for the tree climbing lions. After this, you ill set off to Lake Bunyonyi. This lake is said to be one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda. With a depth of 900 meters, With a depth of 900 meters, it is the second deepest lake in Africa. It is also among the safest lake in the country for swimming as it is free from bilharziasis. The journey will take about 6 to 7 hours with lunch en route. The terraced hills make up an excellent landscape around the lake. Bunyonyi in the local language means “place of little birds,” and as the name suggests, there is plenty of birdlife to be explored in the vicinity of the lake.

  • Day 5: Transfer from Lake Bunonyi to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you will set off to tour Lake Bunyonyi. This lake is said to be one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda. With a depth of 900 meters, it is the second deepest lake in Africa. It is also a safe lake for swimming as it is free from bilharziasis. The journey will take about 6 to 7 hours with lunch en route. The terraced hills make up an excellent landscape around the lake. Bunyonyi in the local language means “place of little birds,” and as the name suggests, there is plenty of birdlife to be explored in the vicinity of the lake. You will take a boat cruise to the different islands to know about their history and come back for lunch. Later in the afternoon transfer to Impenetrable National Park.

  • Day 6: Gorilla tracking and Batwa trail experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early morning breakfast, with your packed lunch, will go for briefing by UWA rangers, after you enter in the jungle to trek the fascinating endangered gorillas the rare species that have almost human characters, you will also have a chance to sight other primates like the blue, red tailed monkey and other species of animals, your guides will help you so much to catch a glimpse and have a lot of information and you will come back with memorable moments. Trekking gorillas takes 6-7 hours. Then later comeback have lunch relax before heading for the Batwa trail experience in the evening, later return to your accommodation.

  • Day 7: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park for an afternoon boat ride and nature walk

After an early morning breakfast, you will depart to Lake Mburo National Park. The drive takes 3-4 hours with stopovers at areas of tourist attraction, You will have lunch at the lodge reserved for you, after which you will go for an afternoon boat trip on the lake rich with a variety of animals such as hippos and crocodiles and bird species.

  • It will take you hours, in the evening take a nature walk before you retire for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 8: Game drive in Lake Mburo National Park and transfer to Entebbe / Kampala

After breakfast, you will have an early morning game drive through the park in search of plain game like zebra, hippos, crocodiles, eland, antelope, impala and a variety of birds. Later you will depart for Kampala / Entebbe arriving in the afternoon for your departure.
