The Equator runs perpendicular to the sphere’s axis of rotation. It’s an imaginary line that can be seen on Maps to mark the point of equidistance from the North and South Pole; it divides the Earth into the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere. Here, days and nights are equal in length throughout the year and sunsets and sunrises occur incredibly quickly. There is little to be distinguished between the seasons, and the temperatures remain incredibly warm throughout the year. Kenya and Uganda both have equatorial temperatures and weather. They experience two rainy seasons, from April to June and October to December, however visiting the regions during this time will only make them cooler; it won’t affect travel or your experience.
