Day 1: Kigali – Bwindi Gorilla Trekking – Return to Kigali

Your day begins with an early morning pick-up at 05:00 am from your hotel in Kigali. After a scenic drive and border crossing into Uganda, you arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in time for a mandatory briefing by park rangers. During the briefing, you receive clear guidelines on gorilla trekking etiquette and safety.

You then set off into the forest accompanied by experienced guides and trackers. The trek leads through thick jungle, steep slopes, and narrow valleys, offering a true rainforest adventure. Trekking time varies between 2 and 8 hours, depending on the movement of the gorilla family. Once the gorillas are located, you spend one unforgettable hour observing them at close range as they feed, groom, and relax in the forest.

After the trek, enjoy lunch before beginning your return journey, arriving back in Kigali in the evening.
