Detailed 25 Days Uganda, Kenya & Tanzania Primate, Wildlife & Culture Itinerary
Day 1 – Transfer from Entebbe or Kigali to Lake Bunyonyi
Drive Time: 3–4 Hours
After breakfast, begin your scenic drive through southwestern Uganda’s terraced hills and rural landscapes. Arrive at Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s deepest lakes and one of the few safe swimming lakes in Uganda.
Relax at your lodge overlooking the calm waters dotted with small islands. Enjoy sunset views and cool highland air.

Day 2 – Boat Ride & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Drive Time: 3 Hours
Start the day with a 2-hour boat ride exploring Lake Bunyonyi’s islands and birdlife. After lunch, transfer to Bwindi.
In the afternoon, choose between a guided nature walk or a Batwa cultural experience to learn about the indigenous forest community.

Day 3 – Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Ishasha
Drive Time: 3–4 Hours
After briefing at the park headquarters, begin your gorilla trekking adventure. Trekking may take between 2–6 hours depending on gorilla movement.
Spend one unforgettable hour observing the gorilla family at close range. Watch them feed, groom, and interact naturally.
After lunch, transfer to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 4 – Ishasha Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Ishasha, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. You may also spot elephants, buffalo, and Uganda kob.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This waterway offers close views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and abundant birdlife.

Day 5 – Transfer to Kibale Forest via Crater Lakes
Drive Time: 3 Hours

Arrive in Kibale Forest and relax before an optional guided nature walk.

Day 6 – Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
After breakfast, head into Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale hosts one of the highest concentrations of primates in Africa.
Spend one hour with the chimpanzees once located. In the afternoon, explore Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, home to over 138 bird species and several monkey species.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 – Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Drive Time: 7–8 Hours
Travel north to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, visit the Top of the Falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gorge before plunging 45 meters.
Enjoy spectacular views and photography opportunities.

Day 8 – Game Drive & Victoria Nile Boat Safari
Begin with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Expect sightings of giraffes, elephants, lions, buffalo, and numerous antelope species.
In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile to the base of the falls. Expect hippos, crocodiles, and rich birdlife.
Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 9 – Rhino Tracking & Transfer to Entebbe / Kampala
Drive Time: 5–6 Hours
After breakfast, depart for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for guided rhino tracking on foot. Spend approximately two hours observing white rhinos in their natural habitat.
After lunch en route, continue to Entebbe for an overnight

Day 10: Mabamba Shoebill tour and transfer to Nairobi, Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya – Transfer & Leisure
After breakfast our guide will pick from you’ Lodge and head for a Mabamba Birding Tour. Mabamba Swamp is found in Kasanje Sub-county in Wakiso District about 50 kilometres southwest of Kampala and north of Entebbe peninsula. After spotting the shoebill, we will drive back, head to Entebbe Airport and fly to Nairobi, Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional representative and transferred to your city hotel in Nairobi.
This day is intentionally kept relaxed, allowing you to recover from your international flight. Depending on your arrival time, you may rest at the hotel or enjoy light exploration of Nairobi city at your own pace.

Day 11: Nairobi – Sheldrick Trust, Karen Blixen Museum & Giraffe Centre
After breakfast, depart mid-morning for a guided excursion to Nairobi’s top conservation and cultural landmarks.
Your first stop is the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where orphaned elephants are nurtured and prepared for reintegration into the wild. This visit offers close insight into Kenya’s wildlife conservation efforts.
Continue to the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden for lunch, followed by a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum, the former home of the famed author of Out of Africa.
Later, visit the Giraffe Centre, where you can interact with endangered Rothschild giraffes from a raised platform.
Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 12: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
After an early breakfast, depart Nairobi and descend into the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at a viewpoint for photography.

After lunch, enjoy extensive afternoon and evening game drives. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its black and white rhinos, flamingos, pelicans, and large populations of lions and leopards.

Day 14: Masai Mara National Reserve – Full Day Safari

Day 15: Masai Mara – Migori & Tarime – Serengeti National Park

Spend the afternoon on a game drive across the endless Serengeti plains, home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, and vast herds of grazers.
