Day 1: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, depart for a scenic drive to Bwindi in southwestern Uganda. The journey passes through lush countryside, local markets, and rolling hills. Stop at the Equator for photos while standing in both hemispheres.
Continue with a relaxed lunch stop before proceeding toward the forested highlands. Arrive in Bwindi in the evening, surrounded by ancient rainforest and cool mountain air. Check in, enjoy dinner, and rest in preparation for the gorilla trek.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Begin the day early with breakfast, then head to the park headquarters for a mandatory gorilla trekking briefing at 7:45 am. Rangers outline trekking guidelines and assign tracking groups.
Enter the dense forest with expert guides, following natural trails through thick vegetation. Trek durations range from one to eight hours, depending on gorilla movement. Once found, spend a magical hour observing a gorilla family in their natural habitat.
After the trek, drive to Lake Bunyonyi through terraced hills and scenic valleys often called the Switzerland of Africa. Arrive in the evening and unwind by the lakeside.

Day 3: Lake Bunyonyi – Entebbe – Fly to Nairobi

Day 4: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your Kenya safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. Drive through the spectacular Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at a scenic viewpoint for photos.
Continue to the Masai Mara and arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive across endless plains. Spot lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, and abundant plains game.
