Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your safari driver guide will pick you up very early in the morning and transfer you to Bwindi impenetrable national park to start your 9 Days gorillas and Tanzania Safari itinerary. You’ll travel through the southwestern part of Uganda witnessing the stunning countryside as you drive through different towns. Lunch will be enjoyed enroute. Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the late afternoon and proceed to your lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and community visit
Following your early morning breakfast at the lodge, head to the park headquarters. Meet other guests for a gorilla trekking briefing, where you will receive all the important information about gorilla trekking; including the dos and don’ts for your trek. After the briefing session, you will be assigned a gorilla family to track.
It is time to enter the jungle to search for the endangered gorillas in their natural habitat. Even though the trek can be quite challenging, you are sure to eventually find the gorillas in their natural habitat and this will easily make you forget the effort you went through to reach them. After finding the gorillas, you will spend about one full hour excited and watching the gorillas, with many chances to take photos and videos for memories.
Later after trekking, return to the park headquarters and then continue to your lodge for some relaxation and if you want you can go for a community visit or cultural tour to learn how the locals live and enjoy cultural performances.

Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe & fly to Tanzania
After breakfast at your lodge start your journey back to Entebbe from where you’ll board a night flight to Arusha. You’ll arrive at Arusha and drive to your booked hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania
After breakfast, check out of the hotel in Arusha and drive to Ngorongoro for your next adventure on this 9 Days gorillas and Tanzania Safari. The journey takes about 5 hours through the scenic countryside. Arrive at Ngorongoro in time for lunch and check in at your booked safari lodge.
Lunch will be served at the lodge, and after lunch, you will spend the rest of the day relaxing as you prepare for your next adventure. Dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5: Go for a full day game viewing in Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, go for a full day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater with chances to see different wildlife species. The crater floor is one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Tanzania, and visitors here always enjoy plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities.
Some of the animals you may see include the famous Big Five of Tanzania (lions, black rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards) hyenas, cheetahs, wildebeest, hippos and zebras among others. During the full-day game drive, lunch will be enjoyed at a picnic site inside the crater before continuing with an afternoong game drive. You can also visit Lake Magadi where you may see many flamingos, hippos, water birds, and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your booked safari lodge.

Day 6: Drive to Serengeti National Park

The migrating animals often attract many predators like lions, leopards, hyenas, and cheetahs that hunt the weak and vulnerable ones. Seeing these big cats on this trip is very possible, and if lucky, you may even watch them hunting.
As you explore Serengeti, you will also look out for the famous African Big Five animals. Lunch will be enjoyed between game drives at a scenic spot in the park before continuing with an evening drive.

Day 8: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your driver-guide will take you to Tarangire National Park, where your next adventure begins. You will arrive in Tarangire and enjoy a game drive along the way before reaching your booked safari lodge in time for lunch. Check in at the lodge, enjoy lunch, and take a short rest.
After lunch, go for an afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park, which is known for its large elephant herds. Tarangire has the highest number of elephants in Tanzania, with over 3000 elephants moving across its wide plains and forested areas, making it one of the best places to see these animals. After your game drive, return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.
